The Signpost

Monday Morning Coffee©️

Happy Monday people!
Your coffee this morning is served hot with a dose of bitter soul-stirring truths!

There is a signpost that directs you off the motorway into my city, and each time I turn into my exit, I hear the Lord say to me “Don’t be a signpost!” While that signpost bears the name of my city, it will never come into my city. It remains on the motorway!

Apostle Paul’s prayer was that after he had preached to others, he is not disqualified from making Heaven! (1Cor 9:27) This is why he admonished us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

In what ways are we just being signposts? How do we live our lives behind closed doors?

I quake in my boots at the very thought that after we have shown others the way that we ourselves become disqualified from going through those pearly gates!

Are we just fancy signposts?…….Lord have mercy! (Sorry, but the truth is bitter!)

  1. Wow! A very apt and unforgettable way of seeing making heaven. God please help me not to just be a signpost in your scheme of things.

  2. Yes.
It is the mercy of the Lord that we are not consumed!
We will make it if we keep looking into our Lord and Saviour…
Trust and Obey…for there is no other way
